Another favourite memory of a beautiful Oak from my first and sodden visit to Lusteligh Cleave back in April of 2025. Printed on a blended/ombre base, I used a combination of ink that dried faster, and wetter inks – this resulted in a nice chance of marks to represent the glory of the tree and the near monsoon conditions.
This print was made for my 2025/26 Moor Trees Crowdfunder, which celebrated our unique temperate rainforests across the UK.
We raised over £1,000 through more than 50 pledges, including sales of 27 monoprints.
£25 of print sales from this [and the remainder of the collection] will go directly to support Moor Trees’ mission to restore Dartmoor’s lost native woodlands through community-powered seed collection, tree growing, and volunteer planting.
