The Tree Portraits Series

The Tree Portraits Series began from some simple, pared-down ‘portraits’ of the Trees outside my old London Flat. This quickly evolved into a broader conversation about the restrictive environment these street trees exist in; this then spilt over to the local Parks, & then onwards here to Devon. This series now comprises of nearly 500 prints.
I’ve also included the Ojai Commission in this series, which describes desert species existing under additional pressures of introduced disease; more recently I started another commission alongside this around the plight of the Joshua Trees in the same region
