With the physical workshops, you can discover the creative possibilities of gelliplate printmaking in a relaxed, small-group or 1-2-1 workshop at my Dartmouth studio.
Whether you’re completely new to printmaking or looking to expand your existing practice, these workshops offer a practical introduction to layering, texture, mark-making, and monoprint techniques using Gelli Arts® gel printing plates. No printing press—or previous experience—is required.
Each session is limited to one-to-one tuition or a maximum of two participants, giving plenty of time for individual guidance while encouraging experimentation, conversation and the confidence to continue printing long after the day ends.
*Please note that there are steps up to the studio, so unfortunately I can’t accommodate anyone who is in a wheelchair or unable to walk up stairs.

FAQ’s
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. The workshops are suitable for complete beginners through to experienced artists and printmakers looking to explore new techniques.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and, if you wish, a packed lunch. Tea, coffee, and all printmaking materials are provided.
Can I bring photographs or sketchbooks?
Absolutely. Please feel free to work from your own reference material or simply explore the techniques on the day.
Will I take work home?
Yes. Everyone leaves with a portfolio of all the original monoprints they have made that day.
Is parking available nearby?
Metered parking is available in the Mayor’s Avenue car park. Parking is somewhat restricted on Higher Street!
