Done on NYE 2020, this was a slight change of tack….
On the hill opposite my then-studio some felling & heavy coppicing had gone on before I arrived here in Devon, seemingly to thin out & aid the succession vegetation.
Due to the steepness of this hill these Stumps appeared almost upright on my picture plane.
