‘Castillo del Mar XI’ was selected for the British Contemporary Printmakers show at Delamore Arts 2024.
This is a late summer view of Castle Cove; quite a quick, sketchy effort this one [done as a pair with ‘Castillo del Mar XII’]…If I’m honest, I’d found the more recent ones a bit laboured, so it was good to feel a bit freer here. The rocks, trees and background of Froward Point were all done in minutes using a hand-cut stencil & a rubber seam roller, which has been a favoured method of tying up & finishing these recent coves off!

Prints can be custom-framed at cost price here in Dartmouth on request.
Smaller prints are flat-packed, while larger works are carefully rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Packaging is protective and largely plastic-free.
Signed Certificates of Authenticity are available on request.
Returns are accepted within 28 days if any purchased print is not right for you.
