‘Cima Dome Fire XIII’ was selected for the Thelma Hulbert Gallery Open 2023 in Devon, and subsequently sold.
I’d been planning on some new, larger monoprints of Joshua Trees for the Tree Portraits Series for a while,
but it took a while to decide on the images to work from,
and then where to take that imagery concerning what I had created before.
I wanted as stark and real a landscape of the desolation wreaked by the Cima Dome wildfire of 3 years ago in the Mojave National Preserve, but I was keen to include elements of mysticism and transcendence that feel apt for such a vulnerable species,
along with some more abstract elements to create a better sense of dynamism in the composition.

Prints can be custom-framed at cost price here in Dartmouth on request.
Smaller prints are flat-packed, while larger works are carefully rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Packaging is protective and largely plastic-free.
Signed Certificates of Authenticity are available on request.
Returns are accepted within 28 days if any purchased print is not right for you.
