With Spring ’22 very much in the air, my Coves started to brighten up – although the palette remains generally on the cold side (& the sea in particular!) the light in the first few weeks of March becomes noticeably more intense very quickly. Both this & ‘Castillo del Mar VI’ were rendered from photos taken during a particularly vigorous Springtide, with the crashing waves very much the feature.
With these Coves I’ve created both sky & sea in a few gelliplate layers, & then applied the first layer of the cove using a hand-cut stencil followed by a single gelliplate layer.

Prints can be custom-framed at cost price here in Dartmouth on request.
Smaller prints are flat-packed, while larger works are carefully rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Packaging is protective and largely plastic-free.
Signed Certificates of Authenticity are available on request.
Returns are accepted within 28 days if any purchased print is not right for you.
