‘Stoke Fleming Burls’, monoprint, 30x35cm

This is one of the rather splendid Oaks on the path up towards Stoke Fleming from the back of Blackpool Sands, here in Devon. I think I did okay capturing a balance between the grain of the trunk, the burls, and the Ivy growing on it.

This is the second print, which I held back from the ’25 for 25′ Moor Trees Crowdfunder!

£25 of the sale proceeds here will be donated to Moor Trees, who have an ongoing replanting program on Dartmoor [200,000 trees planted last year!], using saplings nurtured from locally harvested seeds.
