‘Cima Dome Fire XVI’, monoprint, acrylic & ink, 70x100cm
£1,200.00
my Joshua Tree series documents the effects of the appalling wildfire that swept through the Mojave National Preserve in 2020, which destroyed over 1 million Joshua Trees.

Although these hugely vulnerable plants were granted protection after a 3 year-long battle, they were further pressured by this year’s even bigger York Fire in the east of the preserve.
The Mojave National Preserve has been seeing an increase in fire frequency over the past decade due to a combination of wet winters and increasing levels of invasive grasses.
