Taupe Lofty (Rugeley) II has its origins in a photo taken on a gorgeous Spring morning in 2016 when passing the then soon-to-be decommissioned [& ultimately demolished] power station at Rugeley in the West Midlands.
The woman in the picture was a reflection in the Train window whose smile seemed strangely out of place in the Environment. the Train’s wake is littered with ephemera, including several Asthma Inhalers (Lofty!). This was my most ambitious Silkscreen at the time in terms of layering, with over 70 unique ‘pulls’ for each Print.

Prints can be custom-framed at cost price here in Dartmouth on request.
Smaller prints are flat-packed, while larger works are carefully rolled and shipped in sturdy tubes. Packaging is protective and largely plastic-free.
Signed Certificates of Authenticity are available on request.
Returns are accepted within 28 days if any purchased print is not right for you.
